“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.” – Matthew 25:35-36
The St. Matthew’s Servant Ministry Team organizes projects that allow our congregation to reach out to persons outside the walls of our church. We reach out to persons in both the local community and the worldwide community. Projects are selected to serve the neediest and fit the talents and interests of the SMUMC community. Each project fufills St. Matthews’ purpose “To carry out the ministry of Jesus Christ,” and our mission “To serve through our calling and giftedness.”
